Company Announcement:
School ICT Services Ltd acquires Connect Up Support Services Ltd

We are delighted to announce that School ICT Services Ltd (School ICT) has acquired the share capital of Connect Up Support Services Ltd (Connect Up), bringing the Connect Up business under the umbrella of the School ICT Group.

This is an exciting development for the staff, customers and partners of both businesses as we now move forwards together as part of a larger and even better resourced customer-focused group.

The close geographic proximity of both businesses and their respective customers provides for a straightforward continuation of services and a smooth change of ownership.

Who are Connect Up?
Connect Up (www.connect-up.co.uk) are a Leeds based provider of MIS and technical services to schools within the local area. Employing 15 people and with a history spanning more than 20 years, the company has an established brand and loyal customer following.

The owner and director of Connect Up, Mark Driver, will be exiting the business with immediate effect. He will however be retained on a consultancy basis for a period of time to assist with the business handover.

What does this mean for you as a customer of School ICT?
There are no changes to the service delivery teams, either at Connect Up or at School ICT. It is very much ‘business as usual’ and you will therefore continue to access our service in exactly the same way and will speak with the same people.

As the two businesses begin to work more collaboratively over the coming months, your school will benefit from being supported by an organisation comprising 25 MIS consultants, with accreditations in SIMS, Arbor, ScholarPack and Bromcom MIS solutions. You can therefore be assured of an even more resilient, responsive and efficient service.
This is an exciting development in the history of School ICT and I would like to thank you on behalf of the team here for your continued support and custom. The combined service delivery teams and increased customer numbers will only bring positive benefits for customers across both companies as time progresses.

Should you have any questions or queries regarding this acquisition, then please do not hesitate to contact Steven Hutton (Managing Director) on 0345 2226802 / steve.hutton@schoolicts.co.uk or Clare Barnett (General Manager) clare.barnett@schoolicts.co.uk.
