SIMS Options Online Webinar
This session will be an overview of the process for setting up and using Options Online.
Options is a process that occurs once a year. It is designed to help organise the timetable structure to enable students to study their chosen subjects.
Options Online is a convenient and easy method to manage the process, schools can choose for students to make choices online via a portal or for a school administrator to enter this information.
Classes and blocks are automatically created based on student choices and Course Manager information, within parameters set by the school and with manual override functionality.
The session will cover,
- The importance of the Admin Portal and setting up users.
- Creating an options implementation plan
- Sending student choices to SIMS and updating Nova T option blocks in the model.
