IT Helpdesk – Junior Technician

Leeds, £10k-15k p.a.

From a start-up 12 years ago, School ICT continues to grow year on year and we need experienced techs to join our friendly team in Swillington, 2 mins from the Leeds ring road and M1.

We are one of the largest, independent providers of Capita SIMS support services in the country working with over 850 schools, colleges and academies across the whole of the UK. That’s pretty good considering we started with 40. That growth has been built on due to the exceptional levels of customer services we provide, which is central to everything we do.

The ideal candidate will need to have a working knowledge of supporting ICT infrastructures and computer systems, including servers, workstations, interactive screens / AV equipment, and Apple/Android devices with an understanding of group policies, software deployment, backup/restoration procedures, and firewall/filtering technologies. This is a helpdesk focused role so the ideal candidate will have experience working on a helpdesk.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary £10 – £15k p.a.
  • Pension – 3% from you topped up with 5% from us
  • Death in Service benefit
  • 30 days holiday, plus 8 Bank Holidays
  • Private Healthcare
  • Free on-site car parking

If you like the idea of joining the School ICT family we’d love to hear from you, don’t be put off if you don’t have specific experience in the Education sector as whilst this is desirable, it’s not essential. If you have everything else, and above all the right attitude, we can teach you everything you need to know.
