Having consulted with the DfE, ESS now understand that, although the DfE does not want to receive highest prior attainment grades for post-16 pupils who left the school in the previous academic, it does want to receive this data for post-16 pupils who left the school this academic year. In this area our software is currently treating post-16 pupils who left this academic year in the same way its treats post-16 pupils who the previous academic year. Currently, validation errors 3000 and 3010 will be triggered for post-16 pupils who left the school this academic year.
Fileset 1905 will deal with this issue and will therefore be needed for schools where post-16 pupils have left this academic year.
