Arbor Preparing for Post 16 Census

Course Overview

Schools are required to provided details about Learning Aims once a year in the Autumn Census return. The return collects information on learning aims undertaken in the current academic year as well as those in the previous academic year. Learning Aims submitted in the census are those that the establishment wish to claim funding for.

Course Objectives

This course has been developed to help schools identify the most common Post 16 tasks that need to be completed in Arbor. it will provide an understanding of the post 16 elements of the census return.  It will provide links to funding reports, DfE guidance tools, give an overview on the impact of incorrect/missing data, an overview of the funding formula and what is collected and used for funding, give step by step guidance to understand how to complete learning hours (qualification & EEP) and how to complete prior attainment data.

Target Audience

An understanding of curriculum structure and post 16 qualification offering would be helpful but it is not necessary.
