We have received some information from Capita regarding an issue with Parent App notifications…

It was advised by escalations that there was a known issue with the SIMS Parent App where by parents were not being notified that messages have been received even with ‘Allow Notifications’ turned on from the app. This was only isolated issues with iOS users on version 13 and 14. After discussions with Apple, an update for the SIMS Parent app has now been released and this will resolve the issue. Please update this in the app store. We advise that parents should log out and back into the app for the changes to take effect.
