Due to continued year-on-year growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and experienced ICT Technician to join our education IT Technical support team based at our head office in Leeds.

About us:

School ICT Services Ltd is one of the largest, independent providers of Capita SIMS support services in the country. We currently offer support and consultancy services to over 700 establishments throughout the UK. Our aim is to help schools achieve maximum benefit from their investment in ICT and the post-holder will be pro-active in developing and improving the use of technology in schools as well as providing day-to-day maintenance through our service desk.

Who we’re looking for:

Whilst it would be beneficial for applicants to have current experience of working in the education sector, this is not essential. We are more interested in your technical knowledge, personality, willingness to learn and approach to delivering outstanding customer service.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver high-quality support to our customers via our service desk with an element of on-site visit work, as and when required. The ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge of supporting ICT infrastructures and computer systems, including servers, workstations, interactive screens / AV equipment and Apple/Android devices. You will also have experience and understanding of group policies, software deployment, backup/restoration procedures and firewall/filtering technologies.

The successful candidate should hold a current valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

The role is available for an immediate start.
